Before you add any ingredient to your cooking, read the nutritional information on the food product and confirm if the ingredient is low carb. If the ingredient is high in carbs, then look for an alternative ingredient. When you go shopping, you should always read the nutritional information on the packet to confirm you are buying a low carb product. If the product is high in carbs, then do not buy it and look for an alternative low carb ingredient. I usually find most of my low carb ingredients in the health food store and the staff are quite knowledgeable and can help me to find alternative low carb products in their store. They have even ordered products for me and delivered them to my door. Now that is personal service.
