Gazelle Edge Weight Loss Diet Nutrition Tips Guide

Gazelle Edge For Your First Workout

By Spiridon Rafter

It is easy to become inundated with countless products that help promote physical fitness and weight loss when you watch infomercials. Everyone has a better product and if the product does not sell itself, the manufacturers resort to hiring a paid spokesman. Do you take the chance and believe the infomercial?

Do you login or call and fork over money for a product that may or may not work? Tony Little is one of these spokesmen that is trying to get the world in shape. His Gazelle Edge is marketed as an extremely affordable elliptical trainer that anyone can use to get into the best shape of their lives.

A Lighter And Less Costly Elliptical Machine

Many elliptical trainers are very heavy and very expensive. If you are comparing the Gazelle Edge to something in your local gym, then the Edge is going to come up short. But it is not meant to compete with the thousand dollar machines.

You can buy it for around $100 and it is much lighter than the typical elliptical machine. But do not let that lightness of weight fool you. Most users found it extremely easy to use and loved that they could move it to various spots in their home.

No Resistance Means Working Harder To Get A Full Workout

The Edge is not a fancy machine with a lot of bells and whistles. You do get a computer that monitors your distance, calories burned and time spent on the machine. It is very smooth to use and you can easily review your options and go from a walk to a run without any problems. The downside to the Edge is that it offers no resistance and you really have to put some thought and effort into getting a full workout.

Tony Little makes the claim that the Edge gives a workout that is both cardiovascular and weight resistant but users have found this not to be exactly true. One user even commented that after 40 minutes on the Edge, he did not have a sweat built up at all and that he sweated more while doing sit-ups.

Maximum Weight Limit Of 250 Pounds

One additional thing that Tony Little does not bother to tell you is that the Gazelle Edge does have a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds. For someone who is heavier, this is not the elliptical trainer that they need because it simply cannot support the weight. That light frame does come with a drawback.

But if you do weigh less, then the Edge may be the perfect starter elliptical trainer for your needs. You can buy Tony Little’s workout tapes to go along with the Edge to help vary your workout. So is the Edge a good deal or is it just another celebrity hyped product? For all intents and purposes it does seem like a good elliptical trainer for those who are just beginning.
